Hikvision's addressable fire alarm system category covers addressable control panels together with addressable detectors, manual call points, sounders and beacons connected on a detection loop. Because every device on the loop reports its own address, the panel can identify the exact location of a fire or fault rather than a whole zone, which shortens response time and simplifies maintenance. Addressable architecture also reduces cabling compared with an equivalent conventional installation on larger buildings.
