When the application moves from a building entrance to a fence line or an open yard, the requirement changes: longer range, a narrower field of view, and a body that survives what is thrown at it. This model shares the turret’s thermal sensor exactly — 256 × 192 at 12 µm with NETD ≤ 25 mK — but comes in a vandal-resistant IK10 bullet housing alongside its IP67 rating, and in three thermal focal options chosen by distance. The 3.6 mm variant gives a wide 50° field for close coverage, while the 7 mm and 10 mm variants narrow the field and extend detection to long perimeter distances. That is the essential trade-off in thermal imaging: every increase in focal length buys range at the cost of width, so the variant is chosen from the length of the boundary to be covered, not from a wish for "the furthest". The outdoor model carries the same GUANLAN-based analytics, fire-point detection and temperature exception alarm, plus filters tuned for difficult environments that ignore sunlight reflection and moving plant. It draws more power — PoE 802.3at up to 24 W — to run the heater that keeps it working in the harshest conditions.

What the scope covers

  • The same thermal sensor: 256 × 192, 12 µm, NETD ≤ 25 mK
  • Three thermal focal options (3.6 / 7 / 10 mm) chosen by perimeter distance
  • IK10 vandal-resistant housing with IP67 rating
  • Human detection to 36 m and vehicle detection to 90 m (3.6 mm variant)
  • Temperature exception alarm with fire-point and smoking detection
  • Filters that reject sunlight reflection and moving plant to cut false alarms
  • Hybrid illumination with a deterrent audible and visual alarm
  • PoE 802.3at up to 24 W to run the internal heater
  • Operating from −40 °C to 65 °C
