The NVR6 is built for large enterprise sites with heavy-duty recording and analytics workloads, supporting up to 400 cameras and storage options reaching 440 TB in a single recorder. Avigilon states it processes data around 15 percent faster than off-the-shelf servers, and it supports Appearance Search, facial recognition and licence plate recognition. Consolidating a large channel count into fewer appliances simplifies rack space, power and ongoing maintenance.
